Essex Police Comrades Association

The primary object of the Association is the maintainance of comradeship and good fellowship between retired and serving officers of Essex Police. Membership is open to serving officers of all ranks with not less than 10 years’ Police service, together with retired officers.

The Association has two main functions each year:

  • A Spring Lunch, usually on a Saturday in May, when members are accompanied by their partners and other guests
  • An Autumn Luncheon, usually on a Friday in October, for members only

At the Autumn Luncheon we normally have a guest speaker.  A raffle takes place at both functions supporting local charities.

Subscriptions are £2 per year or £25 for Life Membership, with dining at the functions at cost.

Testimonial:
“I have been a member since 1987 and, although I retired 14 years ago, I still enjoy the opportunity of meeting serving officers as well as many old colleagues and sharing experiences.”
