Welcome to the website of the Essex Police Federation Joint Branch Board (JBB).

The Federation is a staff association representing all serving police officers from the rank of constable to chief inspector in all matters affecting their welfare and efficiency.

We are fully committed to promoting fairness and equality for all. The Police Federation is non-political and administered entirely by serving officers.

Our principal aim for this site is for it to be a ‘living information source’ for you, our members to ‘tap’ into.

We are attempting to achieve a comprehensive ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section which will cover as many scenarios as possible - although this is still ‘under construction.’ If the answer is not here, please contact us and we will make sure we add an answer to your particular circumstances for the benefit of everyone.

We will also endeavour to keep the site up to date with news and views, especially during these very uncertain times.
